A direct sequel to Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Huh. This is... weird. I like the sound of it; it's a 2D Sonic game, so I guess that goes without saying. But at the same time, this seems to imply that the Sonic games span several different continuities. And dammit, it was confusing enough before, with four cartoon series, at least three prominent comic series, and the ontological weirdness that is any game that even tangentially involves Blaze. I guess what I'm saying is blargg my head. |

Well megaman 9 was a success and megaman 10 will be a success as well so why not give sonic a try? |

Seems solid so far. There was a music sample on the main Sega website for a little while; it used the exact same drums from the beginning of Sonic 2's intro. I was skeptical back when all we had was a teaser trailer, but I'm pretty stoked now. |

Is it, really? It comes after Sonic 3 & Knuckles, but before Sonic CD, Adventure, Sonic Advance, etc. Seems straightforward to me. Anyways... I don't really understand why exactly it's episodic. I mean, games like FFIV: The After Years and Monkey Island, those made sense (well, the episodic nature I mean, a lot of things in Monkey Island don't make sense), but Sonic? Well, maybe there's a good reason for it.... maybe there isn't. |

Important note: This has been done before. Sonic the Hedgehog 3: Episode I Sonic the Hedgehog 3: Episode II - Sonic and Knuckles I'm sure that if Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode One is as long as either of those, it'll definitely be worthwhile to have the fourth installment be episodic. |

They did that because of time and budget constraints. It wasn't a deliberate marketing choice, so there's no basis for assuming these episodes would be of similar size. But I would be more than happy if they were. |

I honestly imagine each episode to be about as long as the original Sonic the Hedgehog. That wouldn't bother me. That game was super short anyway. |

In the website it says "coming summer 2010 PSN Xbox live Wiware and???" mmm I don't think this is going to be on the ds or the psp but it could be. ??? = Iphone … maybe after all some sonic the hedgehog was remade for the iphone and the iphone touch. |
