So I called Nintendo and did some research on the tubes... Turns out that the Wii and the 1019 (my memory card) don't get along. Specifically, leaving WiiConnect24 on causes the system to overheat, which corrupts the card. Beyond repair. The best part is that the Nintendo rep I talked to didn't tell me any of this. Having corrupt data isn't a new thing; my Pokemon Colosseum data went corrupt a long time ago, but I started a new game (which is what I meant to do anyway) and it was fine. Metroid Prime 2 and Tales of Symphonia recently did the same thing. But now... nothing works. Period. **** you, Nintendo. |

Actually, I left my memory card out of the Wii for a while, and I think it's working again. All my data (years of work) is gone, but... at least I don't have to buy a new one. |

why not animal crossing. Is it just a special type of data, or is it on a separate disk? |

It was on its own memory card. |
