The is your friendly reminder to Platinum owners that the event for the Secret Key is coming up. This item is required to get Rotom's alternate forms; Frost, Wash, Mow, Fan, and Heat. You can go to Toys R Us from April 19th to the 26th, or from Mystery Gift's Wi-Fi Connection between April 20th to May 12th. To those of you who plan to get Platinum but don't have it yet, I suggest you get it soon if you want this event item! I happen to be a fan of Rotom due to both PBR (my main rental pass has a Rotom on it) and Platinum (Since you can get Rotom early, I used it instead of Luxray), so I definitely plan to get and use this item. In fact, when the Trainer Card maker gets updated to include Platinum sprites, I think I may add Rotom in one of its forms (the oven, I think) to my updated one. So, if you a Rotom fan, this is a must get. Even if you're not, it's an event you don't want to miss! |

You can get Rotom early? The alternate forms are all ghost and another element, right? I don't need another electric, I've got Pachirisu and squirrels are awesome. |

In Platinum, you can get Rotom from the Old Chateau in Eterna Forest as soon as you obtain the second badge, rather than waiting until after you obtain the National Dex. And the forms all have the same type; only the moves are different (and their stats are better than the normal Rotom) |

So, I just got a Secret Key myself. I'm glad that Nintendo made this available through Wi-Fi Connection, so unlike most events, you don't need to go anywhere to get this. It's quite an improvement for Rotom; his offensive stats are a bit better and his defensive stats are much better, and all it took was a slight decrease in Speed. And the new moves give it better type coverage. And to top it all off, you get to learn a bit about Rotom through Charon's journals in the room with the motors. |

You use it in the Galactic Building in Eterna, where you battle Jupiter the first time. On the first floor, go to the top left corner, facing the wall, and press A. The door to the secret room will appear. |

And the best thing of all is, it may not be the last item we get! In Japan, after the Secret Key, they've also gotten the event items to meet Darkrai and Shaymin from Wi-Fi Mystery Gift. So, it may very well be that we get these items later as well (and possibly even the event item for Arceus). I'm looking forward to it. |

On that note, there is indeed another Wi-Fi event coming! From August 3 to Sept. 13, the Member Card will be available. This will let Platinum users catch the in-game Darkrai. |

Guess whaaaaaaaat... New Wi-Fi event! September 28th to November 8th, Oak's Letter (to get Shaymin) will be available for Platinum. And yes, getting will allow you to get the item for the Sky Forme! |

And now, there's a new Arceus event. The good new is that it's not exclusive to Platinum; Diamond and Pearl can get it too. The bad news is that it doesn't seem like it's a Wi-Fi event. |

So right now, Jirachi is available to any Gen IV game; I got myself two... But what I'm really concerned about is what appears to be the latest event in Japan... It's the HAXchu itself. For Bahamut's sake, do they want people to break the game physics? |
