MGS 1, 2, and 3, all brand-new and in a neat little box set, $30.

I haven't started it yet and don't plan to do so anytime soon; I want to finish Tales of the Abyss first.

But yeah, I have them now. I love having a PS2.

And according to EGM's Rumors section (which is usually more of a "You heard it here first" section, because it's almost always right), the PS3 and 360 are gonna see pretty hefty price cuts this fall, so maybe the current gen will be in reach...

I've... considered... getting this for myself... I want to see what all the fuss is about. I haven't gotten a new game for my PS2 for the longest time, though.

It is awesome! =D

I'm playing it right now, actually. I'm almost at the end of MGS3, and once I finish that, I can finally play MGS4! Three great games for $30 is a steal.

Metal Gear Solid is among the best things ever. It's up there with cookie dough ice cream and dogs that play the banjo.

And that's awesome.

My name is Geoff. It's pronounced "Jeff". Mhm.

Check this out.

Yeah, I knew that. I've seen your Mii.

... anyways, naturally, now that I actually do have the money, I can't find this, or a 3rd-gen Pokemon game >_< Guess I'll just wait until Mario Super Sluggers comes out (I'm not missing out on K. Rool's debut in a Mario game, and since I like Wii Sports Baseball and it's basically a more advanced version in a way...)

I also bought Star Ocean 3 while I was on vacation. >_> That brings my PS2 library to 10 games, 3 of which are RPGs. A friend of mine somehow has two copies of FFX, and she's giving that to me sometime this week. RPG bliss.

But I'm putting a hold on buying games for a while. Sonic Unleashed, Chrono Trigger DS, FE DS, and ToS2 are all coming out relatively soon, and I want to get a second console (probably the 360) eventually. So I've gotta start saving up for all that...

FFX kinda blew.

When you're playing MGS3, call...what's his name...the weapons guy, without a shirt on. Then do it with the box. Great codec convos.

MGS3 is the best game ever.

Yes! I got this! Found it at Future Shop. Great price for three games.

I haven't gotten a new game for my PS2 in quite a while (I think Disgaea 2 was the last one), so it'll be nice to play it again.

I plan to start playing this... tomorrow, actually.

Though I won't be playing much until after September 6, as a majority of my gaming time will be spent practicing for a Brawl tournament.

OK, I've started playing. I've beaten Revolver Ocelot and progressed a little beyond that.

I've never played a game like this. It's an entirely new experience -- and I love it. I'd say more, but I'm really tired.

But yeah. I'm liking it so far.

OK, I fsking hate Sniper Wolf. She can burn in hell. Those were the most annoying, un-fun boss fights ever... Until I realized I could use the Nikita in the second one. :) Still, though, those trees were pretty much the lousiest cover ever.

Anyway, status report: I just beat Raven. That fight was fun, too. Hide around a corner, wait for Raven to follow, fire Stinger, flee.

Really, the first one wasn't difficult... if you took that drug and wore the Therma Goggles.

Anyways, I finished the first one a little while ago. I'll start the second one in a bit.

See, I didn't have the drug. I didn't know about it until I was in the boss fight, when I called Nastasha (or was it Naomi...?), and she mentioned it. Cigarettes made aiming a little easier, but it was still hell. Keeping track of her wasn't a problem; I could see her breath.

The second fight was bull****, though. I didn't have much health, and three times she killed me before I even found her. Then I started using Nikitas, and she killed me three more times (I think) because those trees were the worst cover ever.

I'm about to start playing again; I'll probably have it finished today.

Ah, you didn't have the drug...

Well, I didn't even use the trees. I hid behind a snowback in the SE corner. It takes a longer time to get the Nikita to her, but I was never hit once I got there.

OK, once I discovered that you can use first-person, it got much easier.

Game complete.

Well, I just finished MGS3 today, so that means I've played through all three of the games. I'm not sure which one is my favourite.

Though, I will say that Sigint is awesome. Best convos ever.
