Snake is pretty damn awesome. He blows stuff up and doesn't afraid of anything. His side-smash is powerful and has godly knockback. That, and Snake's codec conversations on Shadow Moses Island are funny as hell. Try Luigi's and Captain Falcon's. |

Have you played 15 matches on Shadow Moses Island? Or is it actually fighting him that's the problem? ... Snake was one of four characters I was iffy about at first, alongside Zero Suit Samus (mainly due to all the 'OMG ZSS is hot!' people, but also since I felt that Zamus didn't deserve to be the second Metroid rep. However, she's fine as a transformation rather than a full character, and it's possible to use her w/o the FS), R.O.B. (due to it already being a generic enemy, and the fact that it symbolized the 35 roster which I didn't want to be true. Playing through SSE justifies it being playable), and Wolf (I thought he was a second Fox clone, which he isn't; I still don't like 3 Landmasters, and I still think DK, Metroid or F-Zero deserved another character before Star Fox got another. Still, he's my favourite of the SF trio) Snake I was unsure about due to being too 'realistic' for Smash Bros; however, they did a good job implementing him into the game, especially the Codecs. Furthermore, I've found that I enjoy playing as Snake, and I usually prefer swords-and-sorcery-type characters. Snake, Sonic, Dedede, and the Ice Climbers are on my list of characters I want to improve on. |

Snake is hard to use for some, but he's a good character in the right hands... when fighting a good Snake user, you have to learn how to use his own weapons against him (like reflecting grenades, or throwing him into his own mines... or transferring C4 back to him like with a gooey bomb :ph43r: ) |

Snake is drastically over-powered. Sure, he is a big target, but that is his only weakness. He has fast, powerful attacks (about 90% of them are kill moves) Amazing recovery (which he can keep on using with C4) 4 projectiles (3 of which could kill you) A spike move that will always kill you if it spikes you and even kill you if it doesn't Extremely high priority Heaviness Strong grabs and grab range *sigh* It's hard fighting against a good Snake user... But, every character has at least one other character that they are weak against. What is Snake's weak character? |

Jigglypuff. That, or Jigglypuff is the character TheCount simply can't beat. Jiggly can fly in between the range of Snake's smash attacks and fly in front of him to trick him into attacking, leaving him open. Of course, you have to be really good at evading Snake's attacks or you might as just drop the controller and leave, because if Snake hits Jigglypuff a few times, she's gone. |

Well, I was thinking of Ally's Snake when I asked that. =P But, I guess I can give Jigglypuff a try against any Snake. However, if that f-smash of his connects with Jigglypuff even at 0%, then he/she/it (?) is a goner. |

It. Jigglypuff is an it, according to Smash Dojo. I've always believed that it was female. >_> Yes, Pokemon buffs, I know that there are male and female Jigglypuffs, but this one is female to me. |

Ah. I don't know how Jigglypuff would do against Ally's Snake. I did pretty well with Mario against him (I say pretty well because even though I won it was mostly luck). For some reason I find his strategy easier to beat than Doob's. Mind games I can take. Constant projectile use.....not so much. |

olimar, his piknin cancels 3/4 of snakes projectiles and olimar grab and smash attacks are good for keeping distance from his strong attacks |

I actually surprised myself while playing Snake through random yesterday. He is difficult to implement, especially since he's not the type of character I use, but once you got it down, you've got yourself a decent Snake. I love his Easter eggs. Those were absolutely hilarious. Especially if Snake dies in the middle of transmission. XD |
