Just had a battle with KFox on... a custom stage! And I lost! Pretty badly... at my own stage!

Triforce Chaos

So, yeah... anyone who wants to... play on custom stages can face me! Available for play through any of my many messengers, the chat, or right here.

Notes:
All players must have played the same custom stage before going online. (No others inbetween, normal stages are fine)
In a 1v1 match, 50% chance of the stage being selected. (Assuming only one person with the cheat)
Use of other codes is not possible as it would unsynch the match unless both players have them set.
Yet to see any adverse side effects to doing this.

Additional note:
I'd suggest against sending stages via Nintendo Wifi... it takes so damn long... and in the end... KFox got 3 coppies of my stage after a long long wait. If possible, I suggest transferring the stage to an SD card then uploading it to IGN or some other place and then have people download it to their own SD cards from there.

I'd like to try this tomorrow. All I have to do is download the stage and then play on it before going online, right?

Ah, pretty neat stage. I downloaded this and a few others, so I'd like to try this. Not just yet, though...

To elaborate on BS's answer...

Here is all of what I did to get custom stages online.

NOTE: None of this is official. Any bugs or issues could possibly void warranty. Although, I have been using these specific apps in question without issue. But, as with any cheating device, always take precaution in what you add and wait for confirmation from others before trying it yourself.

Note 2: Only 1 person needs to do this. Of course, the more people that are running the cheat, the higher the probability the custom stage will be picked when playing onlone.

1: Obtained Zelda: Twilight Princess.
2: Used the Twilight Hack. (A hacked save file which crashes the game, read for more info)
3: Installed the Homebrew Channel. (Optional, but more convenient as you no longer need to use TP)
4: Backed up SSBB save file. (As a precaution, I have never cheated on any console with my main save file)
---Used Waninkoko's save extractor.
---Can be run from homebrew channel or directly from TP hack.
---NOTE: Waninkoko is kind of the black sheep of wii homebrew... this is one of his all-around accepted apps.
5: Used the homebrew cheat program Ocarina.
---Can be run from homebrew channel or directly from TP hack.
---Ran the following code on it.
Code:

4A000000 81000000
3253CDDC 01010101
305E25C4 00000036
145E25DC FFFFFFFF
E2000001 00000000
305E25DC FFFFFFFF
145E25D8 00000035
E2000002 80008000

6: Shared custom stage with all players.
7: Had all players play on custom stage before going online.
8: Selected "random" from stage selection and hoped for the best.

Er, wow. I never knew that the Wii finally can be hacked into! O_O

So, can you send me some custom stages, KFox? ^_^

Say, picano, have I sent you any custom stages? I'd like to try Pie Factory, Turtle Bridge, Elevator Action, and a few others online...

If I haven't, can someone who has those get them to him?

picano, I'd be interested in trying this out sometime. I already got your Triforce stage, and since I got some nice practice in, I am up to battling again.

BTW, I'd also like to trade Wii Message Board codes with you, as well as send copies of our main Mii's to each other; I have a gap in my Mii Channel I'd like to fix. In return, I'll send you a cool hacked replay I found on a Youtube link, and any good stages I come up with.

Which mii?

I have one that looks like myself... but the one I normally use is a catgirl. :P

And adding your wii code now.

Actually... how about you send both of them, then?

Anyways, are you up to fighting now? If you are, I'll get back on now.

Wasn't... but I'm bored and procrastinating so... why not?

Also... if we do play, load up the Triforce stage and play it once before we go online.

Just did. Ironically, the Random CPU I owned in that match was none other than Falco :P Start it up, and I'll join.

High damage battles. <3

The more I play on it... the more I realize just how messed up the physics are there.

Falco can dash, jiggly can roll, across the small two triangle gap.

Any fast motion up one hill will cause it to continue down the other side.

That was fun, picano, but next time, no Smash Balls, please.

Anyways, we're now connected by Wii Codes, so I sent you the replay, and now I'm sending the Mii.

Sure. Smash balls I have on by default now as...

Experimenting with multi-smashball codes. Not much luck... but... Bonus Points if you can say what happened here.

And sending miis!

Heh, I can tell that Negative Zone in on there, but can't tell what else.

But, that stage has some crazy stuff going on. I locked you into an Ivy jab combo and got over 200% damage with it.

I really don't understand why Nintendo didn't just give Online Friends the option of playing with Custom Stages in the first place, but it's great that we can do it now.

Yeah. Too bad it's annoying to do.

And interesting replay... gonna make one of my own to show off now.

Oh and... Samus got stuck transforming... we couldn't finish the match... ever.

Picano, if you'll go on and add my Wii code and FC, I'll send the stages to you when I get back to Tennessee.

Well, I've only done them on Training so far, so I'm holding judgment on most of them for the time being, but...

I love the Reznor stage. It's just funny watching Falcon trying to stay alive on it. The one thing I would change is the music; SMW Castle would be more fitting than SMB3 Airship.
