Youtube keeps deleting Gurren Lagann videos. There's a site with every episode. I use that. Then I usually scream "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM?" at the next person I encounter. |

I think it is. I didn't like Gundam Seed too much(G Gundam ftw, but dont tell anyone) but Gurren Lagann trumps even that. Good characters, great story, epic fights...not to mention being absolutely hilarious. I'd recommend giving it a try, anyway. 27 episodes(its finished) of epicness. "The two paths between man and beast...intertwine in order to create the path of the spiral! Piercing destiny as yesterdays enemies, creating a new path towards the future! THE UNION OF FATE, GURREN-LAGANN! WHO THE **** DO YOU THINK WE ARE?!?" God I love this anime too much :'D Only problem is its really hard to find torrents. I had almost given up when I ended up finding all of em  <_< |

Freedom? DULL?! WHAT MADNESS DO YOU SPOUT! (No, that's not a question.) Freedom has THE best design out of 99% of the Gundams in the series. The only Gundams that could possibly top it are Destiny and Strike Freedom (both in the sequel, Gundam Seed: Destiny). Head: Those 2 Vs stand for VIEWTIFUL! Other than that, it's pretty standard. Body: Everything is simple, yet beautiful. The white paint job on the limbs are the simple part, but just the way the Freedom looks gives the whole sense of "Damn, I own." The two guns on the waist are probably the coolest, just because of how well they are concealed until BOOM! YOU LOSE! Thrusters: All in the right place (back, RIGHT below the wings, and behind each leg) so that when it takes flight...It's the most beautiful thing to see in the sky before Kira slices your Mobile Suit to bits. Wings: The. BEST. PART. They open and close (tell me how many more Gundams can do that without looking stupid or becoming a huge bulls-eye...Man, something like Providence is just stupid. LOOK AT ME, I'M A BIG TARGET!), and when they are open...*_* I cannot get enough of just watching Freedom soar through the air. It's like a majestic bird before it swoops down to plant Judgment Day on you. Not to mention that they're mostly blue, which matches with the white of Freedom amazingly well. NOTHING BEATS FREEDOM, EXCEPT CHEAP TACTICS! |

Can the freedom stand on galaxies and throw galaxies? Didn't think so. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann ftw.(the mech I mean)

Jachin Due is more than enough to beat that. Mwu's death, along with the 3 Astray girls (major salute to those three, they're awesome), and the 3 druggies getting owned by Freedom and Justice...Heck, they even threw in Buster and Duel owning all the way after their little scramble. I dunno how this anime ends, but if it's battles you want to compare, SEED hands down has the most dramatic and action-packed battles in mecha anime. And no, Freedom can't stand on galaxies and throw them, but it can destroy them with METEOR in a couple of minutes. No exaggeration here if you think about N-Jammer Cancelers. Devil Gundam? Wha? Full Burst mode >>>>>>> Shining Finger "Soredemo, MAMORITAI SEKAI GA ARUN DAAAAA! *stabs Providence*" If there's any weakness to be found in Gundam SEED besides the oddity of Kira's survival against the Aegis' self-destruction, it's going to be how it ended. The ending didn't do anything to end the series...Yes, there's a sequel, but the end of SEED was just....blah. |

XD, that was the very end of the fight. That was about 10 or so min into it. Gurren Lagann has two parts, pre and post timeskip. The first part is really good, but theres so much humor, I thought it was a spoof of mecha anime :P. But it gradually grows more serious. At the beginning, the mecha fights are mostly just punching and beating the fecal matter out of each other, but towards the end of part 1 some pretty impressive/kickass moves are pulled off and the story grows much more dark.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33d8Jf3GlMQ&feature=related = awesome part 1 preview >__>b Part 2 is where the mechas(or really, Gurren-Lagann) becomes bigger and bigger, fights in space(while in part 1 most were on earth) with Galaxy sized mechas, lots of screaming(eat your heart out, Stahn >_>), and deaths all over the place. Lots of drama too, but I felt it was good. Gurren Lagann's ending was pretty good, but I don't like the ultimate fate of the main character, Simon...usually im happy if the main character lives, but at the price he pays...it just left me wanting a happier ending I suppose.
Main villain of G-Gundam. And the ending of seed.....Kira left floating in space, right? Meh, the best part of Mwu's death was how the events following it brought instant gratification. If the Dominion wasn't destroyed afterward, it would've been the worst death ever. "MARYU RAMIUS..." "FIRE!" Oh, and Gundam Seed has beach volleyball (despite it being an episode separate from the series...). All of the best anime have beach volleyball. >_> *killed* |

Gurren Lagann has a beach humor episode, and they also manage to beat one of the four generals in the same episode. >_> Ive only seen SEED in english. Maybe its more enjoyable in Japanese? I couldn't find it subbed when I went on a brief search. I don't know if i'd like GL as much in english, so maybe JPN Seed would be worth a try... |
