We're a small community based on Super Smash Bros. Brawl. We have a ranking system, but it doesn't matter.

That's right, the rankings are like the Wii Remote Jacket: nobody cares.

If you're seeing this, that means you're a guest, which means you either haven't signed up or you haven't signed in. Unfortunately, we've had to disable guest posting, so if you want to contribute to our community, you'll need to have an account. If you make a new account with us, you'll be limited to posting in the Beginners forum. We look forward to brawling with you!

What are your opinions on Final Destination this time around?

After extensive play on it, I have to say that it's my least favorite stage of all. I hate it even more than Hanenbow and Skyworld. And that's saying a lot.

The reason I hate it is due to those ledges. They make recovery an absolute trap, especially for Snake and Dedede mains, as well as anyone else who has an upward launching recovery. To me, it completely caters to tether recovery users, and that's just not fair to me.

Anyhow, I think they should never have changed it from Melee. Melee's Final Destination remains one of the best Super Smash Bros. levels to battle on, and had virtually no flaws.

So, what are your opinions? I even went as far as to remove it from my random stages list.

Totally with you on that one.

...Though it seems to have counted my vote in the wrong category.

I've gotten over the edges now. If I end up SDing, I blame myself, not the stage. But it doesn't really happen to me much anymore.

And the only reason I don't like playing it online is because my FD music rarely comes up for some odd reason. >_> I don't like any of the other music on the stage. Brawl arrangement ftw.

I don't like it, but I deal with it. I have to, because I hate Battlefield.

I'm indifferent. I like playing on other stages as well, but the edges don't bother me; I almost never get caught by them.

Oh, and I'm getting tired of the Brawl FD song, so SSB Credits is my top choice at the moment.

For online I can tolerate FD, but I hate playing on it against computers. They always seem to be magically pushed up the lip instead of getting caught in it.

Hate it, hate it, hate it. ALL of my mains have a high chance of getting caught under that lip. It is a pain to grab the ledge while recovering there.

Yeah You're The First Forum I've Ever Been At To Call It A "Lip." But Yeah That Lip Is A Pain In The Butt For Most Of My Mains. I'm Down There With Sonic and Then I Shoot My Trampoline and Bump Against The Top. I Get Under The "Lip" With Captain F. I Use His B-Up and I Miss The Edge.

I Always Think I Got It Then... :pikachu: EPIC PHAILURE

Well, I've gotten used to avoiding the edges now, so I actually like FD again. I prefer the Melee one, but this one's not so bad.

Honestly, the only character I've played where the edges give me problems is Diddy Kong. Even with the Mother boys I seem to have an okay time with those edges. Maybe it's just the types of characters I play, since it effects mainly vertical recoveries the most.

Well, let me go over what happens when I try to recover with my mains:

Yoshi: If second jump is caught under the lip, he's dead.

Ice Climbers: Belay if fine, but that stage absolutely murders Squall Hammer recoveries.

Toon Link: As with most people, I tend to recover with him diagonally, which sometimes gets me under the stage. Also, NEVER play as Toon Link against Ice Climbers in this stage. Use your imagination as for why (this applies to Marth and Mr. Game & Watch, too).

Zelda: Do I even NEED to explain this?

Luigi: The Luigi Missile can get caught under there. It's not impossible to recover, but I tend to panic and use the Super Jump Punch too early. =(

Ness: No problems here unless you are recovering completely vertically.

Mr. Game & Watch: He gets some horizontal recovery, so he may get caught.

Donkey Kong: My only main that never has problems here.
