Whoever at Konami thought anyone would want to play as Raiden naked should be hanged by the neck until dead. Only playing as Snake for the intro was annoying, too. It's Metal Gear SOLID, I expected to play as SOLID Snake. But the final battles more than make up for these things. First you fight a bunch of Russian ninjas... with guns. Then you face down a series of war machines... alone. And finally you have an epic swordfight... with Doctor Octopus. All in all, awesome. Also, I love using Stinger missiles to blow up seagulls. ... ...what? |

I just finished this game, myself. Playing as Jack-in-the-Buff was... messed up, true, but the Crazy Campbell stuff made it worthwhile. And while it would've been nice to be Snake for a while longer, I quite like Raiden. It's a shame you can't use the sword for very long, but considering how powerful it is, it's probably a good thing that only gave it to you near the end. |

I won't lie, I was a little angry when I couldn't use Snake, but after seeing MGS4, I am angry that we can't use Raiden! Ninjas are win, and we didn't get to use one! |

One thing though... Rose really annoyed me. When I want to save, I want proverbs or references to old movies that give the player a lesson. I don't want character development in my saves! Mei Ling and Para-Medic are superior to Rose. ... for that matter, Mei Ling is awesome. While you can see Otacon's and Campbell's awesomeness in Brawl, you don't see how awesome Mei Ling is unless you play MGS. |
