We're a small community based on Super Smash Bros. Brawl. We have a ranking system, but it doesn't matter.

That's right, the rankings are like the Wii Remote Jacket: nobody cares.

If you're seeing this, that means you're a guest, which means you either haven't signed up or you haven't signed in. Unfortunately, we've had to disable guest posting, so if you want to contribute to our community, you'll need to have an account. If you make a new account with us, you'll be limited to posting in the Beginners forum. Once you make just one post there, you'll become a full-fledged member, and you can post wherever (and almost whatever) you want.

We look forward to brawling with you!

I love how there are many people enthusiastic about brawl as I am. I like meeting them and getting to know them better. However there seems to be one thing that connects many brawl internet users together and that is anime. To me it seems like that most smash fans are also anime fans. However I cannot say that I am an anime fan. I just wanted to know if there are other people like me out there.

I am not an Anime Fan. I am an Animation Fan. I'd just as soon watch 'Duck Tales' as I would 'Trigun'. Course, if it's not a GOOD show, regardless of origin, I'm not watching it. It does appear as though Eastern producers have a better track record when it comes to good shows than Western producers, but that's not viewers fault. It's hard to argue when 'anime' has brought the works of Miyazaki, and 'cartoons' have brought us.......well, this is where I'd usually put an example of a bad cartoon, but honestly, do I need to? Turn your TV on, you'll be able to find a few choice examples yourself. Not to say there isn't any bad anime...that Shin-Chan show is downright dribble.

...but I do enjoy Western movies more. Except for Battle Royale. That was amazing.

...I probably didn't answer the question well enough, even though I typed all this...

I feel you on the animation part. There are some shows that are cartoony that I like such as Family Guy, The Simpsons, Southpark etc. And there are even some anime shows that I have gotten into when I was in middle school/early high school like Dragonball Z and Cowboy beebop. But besides that I am not that into anime.

In my opinion you gave a good answer so thanks for replying :)

I'm really not that into anime. I suppose it's a 'you either like it or you don't' kind of category. And I mean true anime

I like animation stuff, Family Guy, Simpsons, etc. I even watch the little kid cartoons like Fairly Odd Parents. I watch whatever appeals to me, really and anime doesn't appeal to me all that much. I suppose because it's pretty long and pretty serious most of the time. I hate knowing that if I miss an episode somewhere I may have missed something very important that'll continue on with the rest of the shows.

As true as that is, a specific example ought to be offered as the pinnacle of bad animation. I nominate Ed, Edd, & Eddy.

I have always loathed that show. With a passion.

I'm a big fan of animation. As in, I'm going to college to major in it. :)

But yeah, origin and style don't particularly matter to me. Quality can come from anywhere.

I'm into all kinds of animation. I'm not biased.

Pokemon, Avatar, Detective Conan, The Fairly Oddparents, Naruto, Total Drama Island. I watch them all. =P

Although, I find shows like Family Guy and The Simpsons to be completely idiotic. >_>
