Someone threw away a kitty!! It's still a little kitty, not even old enough to eat solid foods yet. My brother found it in the trash can inside a box, so he brought it home. We're gonna try to nurse it back to health, like we do with a lot of animals we find that are abandoned or sick. It's a white kitty with gray ears. So cute, but it's really weak right now. T_T |

Under 4 weeks, put a heating pad in its cage and a towel over it. Under 4 weeks, try using a bottle and kitten milk replacement called KMR. Younger than 4 weeks, you have to wipe their butts with a warm paper towel (put it under warm water) to make it pee and poop. Keep a watch on the little one and make sure it's got lots of warmth, a full belly, and leave her alone. A soft chirrup sound (or if you prefer, a ticking alarm clock) can be used or placed near the kitten for comfort. The ticking reminds them of moms heart beat, a chirrup is a happy kitty sound. Keep em clean, keep em warm, keep em well loved and things should be good. =) If you have problems with kitty constipation, a little bit of mineral oil works wonders. |

It's at least 6 weeks, seeing how it's eyes are already open. And it does eat solid foods, though it still breastfeeds, too. (with my friends mama kitty) |

It does take a lot of work. A LOT. Anyway... the thing about bein a vet is some moments make something wonderful and amazing and others just wrench and rip your heart out. Best of luck to you! |
