| We're a small community based on Super Smash Bros. Brawl. We have a ranking system, but it doesn't matter. That's right, the rankings are like the Wii Remote Jacket: nobody cares. If you're seeing this, that means you're a guest, which means you either haven't signed up or you haven't signed in. Unfortunately, we've had to disable guest posting, so if you want to contribute to our community, you'll need to have an account. If you make a new account with us, you'll be limited to posting in the Beginners forum. If you want to continue this, I'd suggest the Video Games forum. Though, as the last offtopic statement I'll make in this topic, I'll tell you now that it has been proven time and time again that Sheena and Genis are very low down on the list. Kratos being second-worst was something I had debated on the ToS for a while. >_> It never really changed much, but it did bring him down a couple of notches. |

Out of curiosity, if Genis, Kratos, and Sheena are the worst, then who's the best? |

Here's what I think: Zelos Colette Lloyd Raine Presea Regal Sheena Kratos Genis Here's what the consensus was on the ToS board before I left: Colette Zelos/Kratos (this was a compromise, because while they do have a variety of differences, trying to nitpick through them was difficult) Raine Lloyd Regal Presea Sheena Genis Don't know if that has changed around since then, but the only difference I would see happening is with the Zelos/Kratos standing. |

...So... BS, you can believe in tiers in ToS, but not in Brawl? *head explodes* |

Where does it say that? Me posting what other people said is their "tier list" is totally different from me saying "I say Zelos is better than Kratos." When I said I accept Genis being the lowest, I'm not admitting that tiers exist either. I'm admitting that everyone in ToS is better than Genis. It just so happens that these supposed tiers say the same. |

All you've done is prove that you don't know what tiers are. |

And I won't care because they're just stupid excuses for people to argue for no good reason. I play my video games to have fun, thank you. |

Some -- actually, I'd say most -- people find winning fun. Tier lists help people win. In case you didn't get it: fun is subjective, so get off your high horse. |

Actually, I don't find tiers helpful at all. All they do is tell me that characters I can't use well (Fox) are better than the ones I can use well (Mario). At least, that's what they were for me in Melee. Anyway, on topic, I'd like to add Ryu from Ninja Gaiden to my list of characters I'd like to see. And if I havn't mentioned him already, I'd like to see Megaman. Maybe the Black Knight too. |

I'm talking about in tournaments, when money is at stake and people want every advantage possible. If you aren't entering tournaments, then no, tier lists won't help you, and you shouldn't even care about them. |

Again, tiers don't really help. Mario, who as far as I know has been considered Middle Tier since the beginning of the series is my best character and I used him in a tournament at AE. All sorts of other characters were there, from Olimar to Metaknight. Pretty much everyone was used except for the apes, D3, the Zelda characters, and the Mario characters (minus my Mario). It was a free-for-all tournament and I ended up winning it. Not by hiding either. I like to charge into the fray. |

It's true. If you're not good with a high-tier character and you are good with a mid-tier character, you've got better odds with the mid-tier character even in tournaments. If you are good with a high-tier character, it's an advantage, but you'd hopefully be using that character anyway instead of the low-tier character you're not good with. Except Ike. Trying to use a lower-tier character against Ike is like throwing rocks at a tank. |

Yeah, skill is always more important than tiers. Always. Using a higher-tiered character is just an extra advantage. |
