We're a small community based on Super Smash Bros. Brawl. We have a ranking system, but it doesn't matter.

That's right, the rankings are like the Wii Remote Jacket: nobody cares.

If you're seeing this, that means you're a guest, which means you either haven't signed up or you haven't signed in. Unfortunately, we've had to disable guest posting, so if you want to contribute to our community, you'll need to have an account. If you make a new account with us, you'll be limited to posting in the Beginners forum. Once you make just one post there, you'll become a full-fledged member, and you can post wherever (and almost whatever) you want.

We look forward to brawling with you!

For the first time in three months or so.

I really suck at it now. I used to be able to three- or four-stock CPUs in a five stock match.

I didn't win all the matches I just played, and my initial victories were down to the wire. My last few were better (two stock remaining), but it was still pretty dismal.

But... Wow. The biggest difference I noticed was not the speed, as most people say, but the hitstun. Actual combos! It was glorious. Nothing like getting a CPU from 0 to 80 with one successive string of hits. *hugs Melee Link*

Also: L-cancel. How I've missed you.

Heh...

I think I've stayed pretty constant in my skill. Simply as if playing a different game with all the change to how Falco controlled.

But I remember my first time at Brawl well... gamestop tournament... (Chose Fox as he was closest I could get to Falco). What got me was... the sheer amount of air time from character floatiness.

Got 90% on my opponent with barely a scratch on me... Too bad I lost... the enemy Link just kept on surviving due to off screen platforms on Rainbow Ride... bomb got me in sudden death...

So... floatiness... blah! (Although, that is why I liked SSB so much... so... win!)

64 eh? Super (annoying-to-do) Smash Bros? I swear, smashes were like trying to pull off half-circle punch moves in fighting games on the fly.

thats what made playing as kirby fun, his smashes were like the spammable hafoukens(even though you couldn't charge in 64)
