And I must, it makes me hate SSBB's online even more. Seriously, I got in a race with 11 other people, 4 of which were on the opposite side of the contnent from me, on Grumble Volcano and there was no lag whatsoever. None. At all. Then I tried a With Anyone Brawl... four people. All items. Norfair. Insane amounts of lag. tl;dr version: MKWii's online>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>SSBB's online |

Damn right I did. Besides, there's a small chance that someone here hadn't learned how easy the Flame Runner makes Time Trials, so I might have actually helped someone. |

The online is great, except for three little things... Obviously, there are people who do things like keep one person in last so they can spam items, while the real driver can win... Second, track spammers. People who pick the same track over and over, even when we just played that track already! Granted, those two are more of player problems, not the online itself. The third one is a little more problematic... As you probably know, the way the online reduces lag is that if someone's connection is lagging, they will 'take control' of that person's character from the point of view of the other people, then they update to what the person actually did. Not a bad thing, but there are times when it can get on your nerves... for example, take this: we were playing on Daisy Circuit. I take the lead early on (thanks to the shortcut), and am still leading going into the 3rd lap. I get Blue Shell'd in the tunnel (fortunately, the tunnel lessens the stun time, thank to the low ceiling), then again at the final Item Box row, and hit with lightning as I land. I STILL come in 1st.. or so I think. After the race is done, the game tells me that I actually came in 2nd. Now, I understand it's good for preventing lag, and I'm fine with that, but being told you didn't win a race thanks to item rape and other people's lag really hurts. |

I haven't encountered the first two problems ( Though I've seen several people, myself included, who continually pick the same stage until it's finally picked in the random selection. ), but I have encountered that third one once or twice. It's rather frustrating. |

Ah, I just dealt with some track spammers, myself. One guy kept on picking Rainbow Road, even though that was the first track we did. Our second track was N64 DK's Jungle Parkway, but the person who chose it also chose it every time afterwards! I mean, it's fine to keep choosing the same course until it's picked, but once it's picked, choose something else! I usually just go for Random when picking tracks. |

I've gotten back to playing MKWii online... I forgot how much fun it is. Other than jerks and track spammers, possibly the best online on the Wii. |

Yeah, I'd like that. BTW, when we do this, make sure to set your main Mii to Mingle; I'm trying to get a copy of everyone's Mii (I only have Zeke's and Pyrex's at the moment >_>) |
