We're a small community based on Super Smash Bros. Brawl. We have a ranking system, but it doesn't matter.

That's right, the rankings are like the Wii Remote Jacket: nobody cares.

If you're seeing this, that means you're a guest, which means you either haven't signed up or you haven't signed in. Unfortunately, we've had to disable guest posting, so if you want to contribute to our community, you'll need to have an account. If you make a new account with us, you'll be limited to posting in the Beginners forum. Once you make just one post there, you'll become a full-fledged member, and you can post wherever (and almost whatever) you want.

We look forward to brawling with you!

Well, I though that we should have a poll on what everyone uses for their control setup the most.

(BTW, for the sake of this, Wavebirds are GC Controllers, and if you're one of those unusual cases where you use the Wii Wheel, that's Sideways Wiimote)

I use the Classic Controller, myself.

I use a wireless GC. I used to use the Wiimote sideways, but I tend to rough up my hands that way. I must...have...smooth..skin....

Love the old GC controller since my fingers know that configuration best.

I have also noticed people complaining about running off edges or hitting things accidentally using the wii

Classic controller ftw. Our GC wireless controller has a bit of lag to it and you can't press the controls fast enough. The classic controller has the same setup, only with faster input reaction. x33

I use the GC controller. It's less awkward for me to hold than the other controllers.

Well, seeing as I owned a Gamecube there's no point in buying a Classic controller, and the Wii-mote set-ups are harder to use anyway, so Gamecube all the way.

Good! In a previous discussion, some people thought using the GC controller was cheating in comparison to the wiimote.

I'm glad the using of the GC controller is wide-spread.

I use both Wiimote + Nunchuck and my Wavebird...Unfortunately, my poor Wavebird is feeling the effects of my quick dashing with Ike; the analog stick's material is coming off now. ;_; I'll probably be experimenting with the Wiimote Sideways and + Nunchuck more often now.

My only complaint with the set-ups other than the GC controllers is jumping: The C button on the Nunchuck is NOT the place where my mind registers a jump button. Now, tapping the analog stick upward works...If you want to double short-jump 90% of the time. Seriously, jumping is not fun with any other set-up. >_>

I've been playing with the Wiimote and nunchuk, but I'm in the semifinals for a tournament where I borrowed different GC controllers each match... so I don't know o_O

configure your controller so that down on the Wiimote + nunchuk D-pad is jump... that way, it's just like tapping Y on the GC controller

...just a suggestion ;)

I use the GCN controller 99.8%. It's setup makes the most sense to me.

Although, sometimes I'll use the Nunchuck & Wii Remote combination. Just for kicks, you know.

Wiimote and chuck for me... my gamecube controllers are battered and bruises from years of melee and monkey ball. Only have 1 smash worthy one now.

My gc controllers are to old to be used ( and i am not going to buy new ones) so i use Wiimote + Nunchuck. at the begining it was very hard to get use (especially because all those melee hours i used to play) but now with time i have no problems.

I used to use the sideways wiimote, but it was too hard to do things like tilts, so i switched over to the gc controller, and it works much better.

I prefer Wii-Controller + Nunchuck its more comftable for me than hold the GC ;P
Also my Wii would need a new place if I would need the GC-cable
