Well... I'm glad they once again had Retro Courses back, but the choices... Yoshi Falls? Mario Raceway AND GCN Mario Circuit? Shy Guy Beach? N64 Sherbet Land? Granted, there are some great courses (such as N64 Bowser's Castle, Delfino Square, Waluigi Stadium, DK Mountain), but... there are better choices than Yoshi Falls, certainly. What retro courses do YOU want to see come back? (BTW, the subtitle... remember, Baby Park, along with some others, have already returned in MK DS.) For me: SNES - Vanilla Lake 2 N64 - Kalimari Desert, Toad's Turnpike, Royal Raceway, Wario Stadium, Yoshi Valley GCN - Daisy Cruiser, Mushroom City, Wario Colosseum, Bowser's Castle DS - Luigi's Mansion, Waluigi Pinball, Tick Tock Clock, Airship Fortress |

I wish they'd brought back either N64 or GCN Rainbow Road. This new one ticks me off to no end. |

First, just to get this out of the way, I think it'd be cool if there was a "Finale Cup" where you race on all six Rainbow Roads. That'd be epic. Anyway... SNES - Vanilla Lake 2 N64 - Kalamari Desert, Frappe Snowland, Choco Mountain GBA - Sky Garden, Sunset Wilds, Snow Land, Ribbon Road, Cheese Land, Lakeside Park, Peach Circuit GCN - Yoshi Circuit, Mushroom Bridge, Bowser's Castle DS - Tick-Tock Clock, Waluigi Pinball, Airship Fortress, DK Pass, Shroom Ridge, Luigi's Mansion Honestly, in my opinion, Mario Kart Super Circuit and Mario Kart DS had the best track lists. |

Okay, after some thought, I came up with a set of retro tracks which I think blows the current set of the water. This one uses none of the retro tracks chosen in the DS version, none of the ones currently used, and no Rainbow Roads. Shell Cup: N64 Koopa Troopa Beach SNES Bowser Castle 1 DS Luigi's Mansion GCN Dry Dry Desert Banana Cup: GBA Cheese Land GCN Daisy Cruiser DS Waluigi Pinball N64 Toad's Turnpike Leaf Cup: N64 Royal Raceway GBA Ribbon Road GCN Mushroom City DS Airship Fortress Lightning Cup: DS Tick Tock Clock SNES Vanilla Lake 2 N64 Yoshi Valley GCN Bowser's Castle |
