I'm taking the day off.

We're a small community based on Super Smash Bros. Brawl. We have a ranking system, but it doesn't matter.

That's right, the rankings are like the Wii Remote Jacket: nobody cares.

If you make a new account with us, you'll be limited to posting in the Beginners forum. My spring break is a week long. Do you know what I've done for the past four days? I've sat in front of the computer, organizing and running this tournament. I've bumped topics, answered questions, made and edited brackets, reffed matches, and fought my own. And I'm tired. It's 2 AM where I am, and I just now finished eating dinner because I spent all evening dealing with this tournament. I'm exhausted, I'm barely functioning, and I was on the edge of a nervous breakdown before Doob finally stepped in to let me take a much-needed break (and that was only at Zeke's request). And I'm done. It's your turn to manage this tournament. Today (well, yesterday, I guess), the only ref to actually volunteer himself for anything was the new guy. Innerchyld25, thank you. Doob, you were a big help, and I'm still really grateful for it, but you were playing Halo until Zeke asked you to step in. Here's what you need to do. Make a GameFAQs topic, titled "The GameFAQs Open, Round 2." Link to the bracket inside. Make sure it's clear that if you don't hear from a person by the end of the day, that person is DQed. And restate the rule about being three hours late to your match. Include a link to the Rules topic. Bump this topic every 15-20 minutes. Oh, and Rosalina isn't DQed; I talked to her. She and Jin will have their match today. Not sure when, but they will. So yeah. I'm gonna take a day off and enjoy my spring break. I'm pretty sure I deserve it.

Super Special Awesome GSF Designer Posts: 873 Group: Referee Member #20 Joined: January 28, 2008	Honestly, I played like..3 matches of Halo, the span of 39 minutes (8:50 to 9:27, when my match with Giga happened) and then helped out right after that... I even checked the site right after I got home, BEFORE I got on Halo. I just wasn't aware there was another topic over at Game FAQs. All I looked at was the GSF...and there wasn't much going on. Had I known it was that busy, I would have for-goed the 39 minutes of Halo, you can be sure. But I didn't. Just informing. Your post makes it sound as if I awoke in the middle of the day, took a careless glimpse at the site, laughed haughtily at your distress, and then went about a 4 hour Halo marathon, before being scolded by Zeke. I had no idea of the trouble till Zeke informed me. It wasn't so much a request as it was 'We could use some help.' responded with 'Ohshi, really? Won't aware. I'm on it.' I appreciate the thanks, but it's unnecessary. I like to help out, and as a ref, it's expected for me to ref matches. I'm sure everyone will figure they're matches out. I don't think it's too complicated for two people to get together and make a plan. And if it is, I suppose it'll just move along without them.

We'll take care of it though. I'm not trying to say I was helpful, but basically I didn't see a single match that I could help out with... don't ask me how that worked out, I have no idea.
