That's right, the rankings are like the Wii Remote Jacket: nobody cares.

Okay, so, since I like music and I'm sure you do too, tell me a couple of the bands you like and I'll give you a rec based on your tastes.

Any Bubblegum Pop or Japanese Death Metal. <33

I like Classic Rock. Queen, Aerosmith, The Doors, Led Zepplin, The Animals... Also, some newer rock, but not the 'punk' stuff. Anything with good guitar solo's will work.

No matter what, every B'z song has awesome guitar solos. (I hope you realize by now I will recommend the B'z to anyone no matter what  )

Yea I looked up some more of their songs after that one you posted the other day...
I'm trying to find a CD, but I doubt I'll be able to find one anywhere over here... (Virginia isn't the kinda place you'd find Japanese Rock CDs <_<* ) Might have to just....download them...from...places.

P!ATD

Old PatD or new PatD?

There's a rather large difference.

I love both. Especially new PatD.

Kuro: I hate you. I recommend some pre-Black Parade, My Chemical Romance (wrong grammar, helps the point better, shut up), particularly the album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and the song "Cemetery Drive". When you're done with that, Say Anything's album ...Is a Real Boy.

Doob: I love you. Blue Oyster Cult's Agents of Fortune (songs: "Don't Fear the Reaper"...and that's about it) and their Club Ninja (songs: ALL OF THEM.) Afterwards, I'll rec you some Cure.

Mori: You suck. Basically see Kuro's recs; come back with more detail.

Note: The first sentence is generally going to be my attitude toward your music tastes, not you, so just replace "you" with "your music tastes" and that's what I mean.

1. My music tastes are different, not worse than yours.

2. I have all three MCR CDs, and while "House of Wolves" (from BP) is my favorite song of theirs overall, Three Cheers is generally better. On that much I can agree.

1. The music elitism is just a joke, don't worry about it. Basically, any elitism from here that isn't related to Eragon is entirely sarcastic. Future reference.

2. Say Anything, yo.

Hell yea, Don't Fear the Reaper. That's about the only song I can sing and not fail in Rock Band. Well...that, Blitzkrieg Bop, and Orange Crush. But anyone who can fake a Brit accent can sing the Bop. No excuse for Orange Crush.

Club Ninja, huh? I'll have to look into them.

Jin: Hmm...tricky one...bit of a longshot, but I'm thinking maybe you'd like The Decemberists. Check out Picaresque.

Try here. They don't have a full CD, but those are all the anime openings they've done, all six. x3 And yes, Girigiri chop is a Detective Conan opening. The 11th one, actually. I have other songs other than that, but they're live versions, not CD version since I like the live versions better. x3

Sorry Jin, that's a really tricky set of tastes. It's really hard to appeal to most of those, so I went with a bit of a mixup. Maybe you should try some Of Montreal, but anything other than that is going to be insanely out there.

Yeah, it's called Of Montreal. They're a weird band, their name is no exception.
