On April 9, we will hold three (!) tournaments. The New N Team Samus tournament is open only to Samus/Zero Suit Samus players. The New N Team Pit tournament is open only to Pit players. And the New N Team Snake tournament is open only to Snake players. Like the Green Beret, the New N Team represents the GSF on other forums. Unlike the Green Berets, the titles also come with Virtual Console prizes. The prizes are Super Metroid, Kid Icarus, and Super Castlevania IV. The tournaments are Elimination format. The entry method is Open. If you want to sign up, sign up now. And by the way, these are not the last character-specific titles, but they are the last titles of which the holder will be considered a GSF representative. Just a thought, since both me and my brother are going to be in this tournament it'd be kinda hard for us to go on wifi at the same time. So, if it ever happens that me and my bro have to fight against each other, we can't do it over wifi. What we can do, though, is video tape us playing on regular mode, with our names above the character's head. That all right? |

But I thought only one person can do wi-fi at a time. I'm confused now. ><;; Okay, wait, I checked. It's only one player for With Anyone mode, not With Friends mode. Got it. I'm new at this, sorry. ><;; |

I'll join the Snake team or whatever. But I'm still waiting on that tournament with Bubble Bobble as a prize. Seriously. And I'm sick of the lag going on when I play people around here. I almost never get lag issues when I'm playing against some of my other friends from out of Colorado. |

we need a GSF Ike. =( When I have wifi again. >:O Seriously, no offense, but the choices for GSF reps suck. Why don't you open a tournament for the FE, DK, etc series(different tournaments), and whoever wins with a character from that series represents GSF with that character? |

Luigi and Link are "reps" because that's who Zeke and I main, respectively. The Green Berets were created to basically represent us, the founders, in matches with other leagues/clans/communities/whatever, in the event that we couldn't play. Basically, if there's ever a "clan war" or something of that nature, the Green Berets would be at the front lines. Same goes for the N Team. Samus is replacing Mega Man. Snake is replacing Simon Belmont (since they're both Konami characters). Pit was on the original N Team. (See this article.) To be honest, I don't know why the New N Team is included. That's Zeke's thing, not mine. There will be tournaments for every character in due time. Most will give out prizes, and all will give out titles that mark the holder as the best GSF player of that particular character. The holders of these titles receive bragging rights and the option of playing as their character in GSF Events. For example, BS is Green Beret Link. Event #6, "For Brawlta," has Link as one of the opponents. Normally, this Link is played by a GSF staff member. However, if BS so chose, he could step in and play Link instead. And, of course, all of these character titles are transferable (but not the prizes), so feel free to challenge the current owners. (Of course, they don't have to accept.) Please note, though, that if you challenge someone for any title, you must use the item and stage rules of the tournament in which the title was won. So for any character title, you'd be required to have FSs on Low. The format of your match is, as always, up to you. |

Just thought I'd add this in... While the titleholder doesn't have to accept a challenge, if we see him or her declining enough title challenges we will call for another tournament in which he or she is forced to defend the title. Also, there will not be a series theme if it can be avoided. And, contrary to what I said earlier, I am considering adding more rep titles... haven't decided on any yet, though. |

Ergggg ok, I'd really like to enter the Pit tourney. But I only have wifi access two nights per week- Saturday and Sunday. I wouldn't want to hold up the tournament for everyone else. I know these things do go on for a while but... I dunno. Do you guys think that would be doable? I suppose I could try it but could drop if people get annoyed... =/ |

Yeah, that shouldn't be a problem. We'll have our hands full managing two other tournaments as well, so if you hold up the Pit one a bit, I don't think we'd mind. |
