Lucario

We're a small community based on Super Smash Bros. Brawl. We have a ranking system, but it doesn't matter.

That's right, the rankings are like the Wii Remote Jacket: nobody cares.

Now, I'm considering using Lucario as a sub, even a secondary main. He's one of my favourite Pokemon (mine, named 'Clauigi' is in my main Pearl team), and I supported him for inclusion in Brawl. I like his fighting style, and since one of my main battle traits is the ability to survive at high damage, Lucario seems like a good fit for me. I already have quite a few characters I like using (same as Melee), but Lucario does seem very appealing to me.

Unregistered	Lucario always feels awkward to play as-ive yet to put my finger onto why. His FS is pretty bad in 1v1, but I do love how he gets stronger as he takes damage. Interesting character, for sure.

If there's anyone in this game that possesses an amazing amount of grace, it's Lucario. His double jump reminds me of how light he is, and his attacks feel like I'm using Neji: they're really precise. It's like using an awesome assassin. >_>

Unregistered	Yeah, I don't know what it is-I like him, I really do, but I just find him so awkward. Practice makes perfect, I guess.

Super Special Awesome GSF Designer Posts: 873 Group: Referee Member #20 Joined: January 28, 2008	As one of my mains, I've played him quite a bit. Yes, he's very fluid and graceful....which is why I'm always surprised at how slow his smash attacks are. The forward smash is incredibly easy to dodge and his up smash borders on un-usable. His aerials are great, but when I play online the slightest lag shuts down my air game so I can't really use them online. But that dair....that's a great move. Also, if you're coming back down and the opponent is preparing an Up Smash, the dair with slow you're floating just so that the enemy misses the up smash... Also, his lightness doesn't make sense to me. He should take a bit more to knock off...I mean...part steel type. That 'more damage = more power' doesn't really help if you can get KOed at 100 easily.

Well, I am indeed going to use Luc as a secondary main. Heck, if he keeps it up, he and/or ICs might make full mains. Aura boy is AWESOME.
