There are a few people who use him. I know both Kuro and drift have some skill with him. Now, myself... I would've... if he was based on his badass Wario Land form, not his farting WarioWare one. Seriously, where is the Wario Land love? It gets a Forward Smash, a sticker from the Virtual Boy game, and the mix of a Wario World song for the Victory Theme... that's it. |

I like to play as Wario, as previously mentioned. I really do wish he was more like his Wario Land counterpart though. He was badass and hilarious back then. Now he's just stupid. I also wish they had the Wario Land 3 theme in the game. Seriously, how awesome would that be? Yeah though, it's fun to play as Wario, because so few people play as him that they don't know what's coming when you use him!

I was actually surprised that I was actually good at Wario. Of the five Mushroom Kingdom reps, I'd say I'm best at Wario, with Peach after him. He is a little awkward to handle at first, but his farting is deadly to anyone over 75%. XD |

I like Wario. He's a pretty good character, even if it is hard to get used to him. And his FS is one of my favourites. On any level that isn't Hyrule Temple or New Pork City, I always get at least one kill with it. It's just so incredibly funny to listen to my friends and brother yelling as they run away from Super Wario as he flies after them. |

There are only 3 Mario reps: Mario, Luigi, and Peach. Wario and Yoshi can go eat themselves, and Bowser should go burn like he does in Mario Galaxy. >_> |

Wario gets...what 8 different costumes? One of his orignal plumber look and the other of his WarioWare type wear. He's somewhat funky to learn to use, and his farting is a GREAT asset to surprise people. I wish there was some way to know when his fart was ready, otherwise you get two or three seconds of lag when anyone can cream you. His motorcycle works well in some cases, and then you can whack people with it! Hoorah! Honestly...the crowd cheering for him I don't understand. "Waaarrriooo! Cha Cha Cha!" Cha cha cha? Am I missing something??? And honestly..why does he dress up for his final smash? I expected a giant super fart like in Emissary... |

Actually, you can tell when his fart's ready. Wario starts to flash red after about 2 minutes. That's how you know his fart is ready. His motorcycle doesn't do enough damage for my tastes, but it can still be useful, and it's great for getting back on the stage. I don't know why they cheer like that either. It's.....odd. |

Not really. The crowd shouts "We like Ike" because everyone likes Ike. They just feel the need to let the player know when (s)he does really well. |

Wow I thought everybody would love Wario by now. Well let me tell you that Wario is one of the most fantastic characters in the whole game (and I am not just saying that because of my name). His moves has one of the fastest beginnings and endings in the game. It comes and hits ya, and Wario is immediatly ready to hit ya again! For example his down-air move is absolutely killer! You can do so many combos with it after use. Such as another dair or down smash. It can lead into a combo after you knock back your opponent such as a throw, bite, or punch. His Ftilt has great knockback even at very low percentage levels so start chasing after your opponent with those dairs afterwards! This is a great example of how easy and fun it is to play as Wario. Another thing that Wario's dair move tells us is that he is a great fighter in the air. The move that can guarentee a kill at 100% is the clap. This is his up-air attack. I consider this one of the easiest killer air moves to pull off with a short hop for ANY character. When you feel the combo flowing in, try to add in the short-hop clap to really add those percentage points up. Also when you are playing in a game with platforms and your opponent is up one level above you, think of yourself as a shark. You see your prey moving near the surface, and then you see your opportunity to pounce. You take it...JUMP!...then Clap! Sends your opponent flying! Its a very cool move. The CHOMP ![]() This move is a favorite for the experienced Wario players. It helps rack up the damage quickly on your opponent without you having about anything else for at least 2 seconds. The easiest way for you to get your opponent in your mouth is to hop, press b, then fall as your opponent is either right beneath you, or runs into it! One of the best characters to do this against is Pikachu and Sonic. Both of them have fast running moves that when they start comin your way...keep that big trap OPEN! Especially Sonic. Most of his moves are going into a ball and rolling around, this gives you a big advantage over him. -One more character I would like to add to the bite list is Jigglypuff. When Jiggly starts doing that (REALLY ANNOYING) roll move and you feel like chomping, you have to time it right. The thing is, Jiggly can let go anytime she wants to, so if you chomp too early your mouth will close before she starts moving and then whammo! Chances will be you are knocked off the stage cause that move of hers can really rack up against Wario. So becareful of Jigglys. *I also found out another thing about Wario's chomp. When you are fighting on the ledge, you can get off midair...chomp on the opponent...and both of you start going down. Now you may think that this is a Wario-cide. Well it does not have to be! If you feel that your wario-waft is charged up enough, press down-b as soon as you let go and fart all the way back up! (Use the motorcycle if u feel it will also help) and then voila! You have got a humiliating kill! My friends, do not be discouraged because Wario is not EXACTLY like the Wario in the Wario World games. All great characters become different because time changes everything. Learn to love the new Wario and he will still be the same yellow-chubby fat guy you always knew. At least thats the way he is with me. I loved him back in the day of gameboy, and no matter how he looks today or tommorow I would still main him. Cause Wario is Numba 1!

Ah... very nice Wario tips. Hoping to improve my game with him... even if he started as my joke character. I tend to use my bike a bit too much... for quick head on attacks (usually works on knocking back a person with a hammer, additional recovery, to kill ledge hogs (seems to spike straight down if done right... only pulled it off twice though), and of course... as a diversion (either having the enemy attack it intentionally and using the delay to get in a hit, or having them dodge it, believing that it can still do damage without Wario on it). I'll have to try that chomp-waft some time, but usually don't have the best of timing when it comes to online matches. |
