| We're a small community based on Super Smash Bros. Brawl. We have a ranking system, but it doesn't matter. That's right, the rankings are like the Wii Remote Jacket: nobody cares. If you're seeing this, that means you're a guest, which means you either haven't signed up or you haven't signed in. Unfortunately, we've had to disable guest posting, so if you want to contribute to our community, you'll need to have an account. If you make a new account with us, you'll be limited to posting in the Beginners forum. Once you make just one post there, you'll become a full-fledged member, and you can post wherever (and almost whatever) you want. We look forward to brawling with you! Well, this is it. December 3, 2007. The day that Super Smash Bros. Brawl should be coming out. Instead, it's just the grand opening of the Global Smash Federation. ...No, really, your applause and wild cheering are just too much. In all seriousness, though, while this day isn't nearly as exciting as it should be, we here at GSF are pretty excited all the same. We've put a good deal of time and effort into creating a comprehensive, easy-to-understand, and (we hope) fun organization for everyone, from the casual gamer to the hardcore Smasher. Our only goal is to provide two things: an arena for everyone to show off and improve their skills, and a community for everyone to interact in more civil ways that don't involve the word "smash." Of course, we could never meet those goals without you, the gamer and future Smasher. There can be no arena without you, and there certainly can't be any community. With that in mind, we hope you like the place. We sure do. Now, GSF is certainly still a work in progress. That's just another reason to join early -- your ideas could be a fundamental part of the growth of GSF. As a user instead of a founder, you could provide a perspective that we just don't have. If what we have is great, you can tell us. We like having our egos stroked as much as anyone. If what we have sucks, tell us that, too. Welcome to the Federation. Feel free to stay awhile. |
